Intro

As a recreational sports bettor I have decided to focus more time and energy into betting. I have created a bankroll system and point value system dependent on certain games. I have created a simple, easy to follow system. This system has a less than 2% of losing all the money. I have decided to post my picks in this blog for everyone to see. If I have a fantastic winning season then it's documented by time and date online.

The system:
I'm going to use a star system and give certain games more stars if I feel they are better games to bet on. For easy Math in this example I will use a $1,000 bankroll that is money I'm prepared to lose. This money shouldn't be rent, food money, etc. Each star will represent $20. Every game I lose I will be charged a 10% VIC (the VIC is how bookies - sports books make their money, every game a bettor loses he/she pays the bookie an extra 10% of the amount they wagered). For example if I bet $100 on a game and lost then I owe the bookie $110. The VIC only applies to games lost and the bookie never has to pay an extra 10% to the bettor.

Who am I?
I'm a 23 year old college student (taking a leave of absence) that plays online poker for a living and will probably never attend another college class. There is far too much money to be made in Poker compared to a job even with a college degree. I have bet sports for several years with no level of seriousness. There is extreme variance in sports betting and I don't claim to be a betting prodigy so gamble at your own risk. My ego has lead me to use my free time to analyze games. I need to go check the games for today.
